Meet Our sTEAM

The Media Center at Bresnahan Elementary School has a collection of more than 13,000 fiction, non-fiction, and reference items, circulating approximately 1,300 books each and every week. Students and staff enjoy access to a wide variety of reading and viewing materials, utilizing current technological resources in addition to/combined with, traditional browsing methods, in an open, flexible, state-of-the-art, Mindful learning space.

Conveniently, the library is located adjacent to the computer lab, and classes often visit both areas for skills enrichment, research, and completing assignments, activities, and projects.

Bresnahan's STEM program provides hands-on real-world experiences that enrich students' knowledge of science, technology, engineering, and math.  In addition to the rigorous coding, with the help of BeeBots, BlueBots, Robotic RaceCars, Hour of Code, and Beyond Hour of Code.

What better way to display the expressions of life's learning than with Art? Bresnahan's Art program allows students to create amazing works that are frequently showcased in a variety of local venues: restaurants, libraries, lobbies, and more. Art helps students to access and reorder conceptual space and visual realities.
